GolfNorth is pleased to announce that effective June 30, 2016, it has entered into a long-term lease for the operation of Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club located on Horseshoe Valley Road just north of Barrie, Ontario.
Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club, is an award winning John Robinson designed, 18-hole course and practice facility. Distinctions include: hosting the 2006 and 2007 CN Women’s tour, along with nominations for Best New Course in Canada awards by Golf Digest and SCOREGolf.
With breathtaking views stretching west across the escarpment toward Georgian Bay, and south toward lake Simcoe, Settlers’ Ghost is as much a visual treat, as it is a pleasure to play.
Whether you’re looking for dinner after your round, a quick bite on the turn, or a pleasant evening on the patio, the restaurant at Settlers’ Ghost is open year-round for casual fine dining. There’s no need to be a golfer to join us for dinner, but reservations are recommended for summer weekends.
With the addition of Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club, GolfNorth has added 99 new holes to its portfolio in 2016 and now operates 31 golf courses in Canada. Settlers’ Ghost is a Diamond level facility and existing adult members will immediately enjoy reciprocal playing privileges at Mystic, Paris Grand, Ridgetown and Scenic Woods Golf Clubs as well as all Gold, Silver and Bronze level courses.
