Photo ID Cards
GolfNorth will now feature Photo ID Membership Cards in order to better serve our members.
To submit your photo, please email it to email@example.com with the following information:
- Full Name: Please use the same name that you used when filling out your membership application.
- Course Purchased At, this includes GolfNorth Head Office.
- Phone Number
- Member Level
Your photo ID submission must meet the following requirements in order to be accepted:
- Clearly-lit, front-facing portrait against a simple background.
- Only 1 member per photo. Groups photos will not be accepted.
- Face must be clearly visible. This means no dark glasses, hats with brims that overshadow the face, or any other items that make identification difficult.
- Scans of existing ID such as driver’s licences or passports are not recommended.
How do I receive my gift card?
The Gift Card will be added to your Membership card. If you are a new member it will be mailed via Canada Post the following business day by GolfNorth Head Office. The item will arrive at the shipping address in accordance to Canada Post guideline. Please see here for more information.
Where can we use this gift card?
Regular Gift Card:GolfNorth Gift Cards are valid at any of the Ontario Golf Course Courses and can be used on items such as membership, food and beverage and green fees. The Gift Card is non-refundable and has no cash value. This Gift Card will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
Early Birdie Gift Card: This card is received if you purchased an eligible membership before the early sale deadline. These cards can be used for green fees, cart rentals, food and beverage purchases and pro shop merchandise. This card is NOT valid for memberships (including add ons) tournaments or wedding / events.
Does this Gift Card expire?
No, by law this Gift Card will not expire.
Where can I check the balance this card?
Any of the Ontario locations will be able to check the balance of this gift card at the Pro Shop.
Is a Gift Card attached to a name?
No. Anyone with access to this card can use it at a GolfNorth facility. Please treat this card like cash as it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
My Gift Card did not arrive, what do I do?
Please call our Head Office at 1 888 833 8787 to begin an investigation on what has occurred. Please allow at least 1 week from shipping to contact.
I just purchased my membership. Now what?
After a successful purchase, you will receive the receipt via email to the address you provided at signup. To allow us to begin working on your official GolfNorth ID Card, we require that you send a photo of yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about this process, please see the Photo ID Cards section below.
In the winter months, we will take the photo you submitted to email@example.com create a GolfNorth Membership card for you. This card and a membership package will be mailed to your home address in time for Spring.
