Come and enjoy 9 holes of this fun alternative to golf while taking in the beautiful views of Foxwood. We offer disc rentals and can even help you plan a Disc Golf League!
No advanced tee time is required, just stop by the Pro Shop to check in!
1. Played like traditional “ball” golf. One point (stroke) is counted each time the disc is thrown and when a penalty is incurred. The goal is to play each hole in the fewest strokes possible.
2. Unlike stroke play, in which the unit of scoring is the total number of strokes taken over one or more rounds, match play scoring consists of individual holes won, halved, or lost.
3. Fescue gameplay is identical to traditional. However, if a player lands their disc in the long grass then it is an automatic penalty stroke.
Never throw when players or golfers are within range. Be aware of your surroundings and environment.
Each hole begins with a tee throw. Tee throws must be completed within or behind the designated tee marker.
Fairway throws must be made from directly behind the line. A run-up and normal follow-through, after release, is allowed, unless the lie is within 10 meters of the target.
Unplayable Lie (One Shot Penalty)
Any disc that comes to rest above the ground is considered an unplayable lie (in a tree). The disc must be thrown from the lie on the ground, directly underneath the unplayable lie, relocated to avoid damage to the vegetation. A one shot penalty will incur for an unplayable lie.
