Situated on the beautiful Niagara escarpment, just above Stoney Creek, Scenic Woods offers an escape into the countryside, while being only a few minutes outside of the city.

Established in 1964 by Sam and Eleanor Legato, and designed by Rene Muylaert, Scenic Woods offers a mature course, comprised of tree-lined fairways and intersected by the meandering Twenty Mile Creek. The 18 hole, par 72 course is situated on approximately 6350 yards of gently rolling terrain and is able to be enjoyed by all abilities of golfers, from the novice to the most discerning player.

The course’s close proximity to the Burlington and Oakville areas has allowed Scenic Woods to offer great value and customized packages to its nearby neighbours. In this vein, Scenic Woods boasts a wide range of options to suit the most avid golfer, as well as the golfer who chooses to play infrequently or sporadically during the season. Scenic Woods has the perfect scenario for each individual.

Functions
As a semi-private club, Scenic Woods encourages a mix of membership, green fee and tournament play. The combination of outstanding food, quality service and professional organization has led to Scenic Woods’ stellar reputation in the realm of tournament organization and customer loyalty.

Our large, modern Clubhouse features amenities including a fully stocked Pro Shop, a Restaurant and Bar with a large, cozy gas fireplace, and large Banquet Rooms with a panoramic view of the golf course. With capabilities to facilitate multiple golf outings or corporate tournaments and can also be used for business meetings and/or miscellaneous functions Scenic Woods can easily accommodate your event.

The outdoor area surrounding the Clubhouse features two patios; an upper and a lower area where customers can watch players finish their round on the 18th hole, take in the scenery, enjoy the fresh country air, and indulge in a meal or drinks after a day’s outing.
